I love to go on long walks.
Sometimes with the quiet as my only traveling companion.
Sometimes with a shirt pocket radio as a companion.

Such strange names these friends have: DT120, ST400W, SRF59, DE15…

That is where we started.
There is no way my PL380 would fit.

I find myself more excited about what I discover with my DE15 than with a modified PL380 or Perseus SDR.

When we make external/internal modifications:
These wonderful pieces of electronics no longer carry the birth right of where we started.

In some cultures one would go on a journey,
A walkabout,
Until one’s identity is formed.

I’m going for a walk now.
It’s snowing.
I wonder which of my electronic friends will go with me.
