Colin Newell has been a radio hobbyist since 1971 - when at the age of 12 he discovered World Band radio... It was only 35 years later at the tender age of 47 did he discover Amateur Radio... Ham radio to the general public... and from that point on, the rest, as they say... has been mystery!

Colin is also the co-moderator of the Yahoo Users Group for the Kenwood R2000 communications receiver and the primary P.R. guy and North American imagination person for the newly re-minted Happy Station show on PCJMedia.com.
