Welcome to the DXer.CA - 2012 website. The DXer.ca site has been on the air in one form or another for 16 years now (Since 1996 as "espresso.ts.uvic.ca)! We are based in Victoria B.C. Canada but we have listeners and hobbyists stationed all over the globe!

Ian-and-associate-2sEven more news - All of our CD Libraries are now converted to downloadable chapters - for download on the DXer.ca website - and no, they will not be free - but close enough. Going to create a paid subscription area for specials and all the classics. We have also just added an short (16 page) Ian McFarland Micro-eBook for 99 cents... a good read. Sales have been brisk! Thank you so much everyone!

Site speed - there have been some improvements to the MySQL server this site uses - should be some improvements in overall performance.

Note! The shirt that Ian is wearing at left is being auctioned off at the 2012 Winterfest in Kulpsville!

In the last 2 years we have had over 100,000 downloads - which is astounding.

As I have been rebuilding the DXer.ca site and upgrading various pieces of software - in doing so I have upgraded the hosting package from $19/month to $40/month to cope with the demand on the bandwidth. Everything will stay free as long as possible. Thankfully, we now have a couple of sponsors.
