Once in a while you need the perfect little gizmo. This is one of them. Line level input. FM stereo output. It probably transmits about 1mw worth of stereo FM joy between 88.3 and 89.9 FM. Perfect for us cheapskates that do NOT have a CD player in our cars BUT would like to be about to use our 50$ CD portable!

Simple: 1 AA Battery and a stereo 1/8" jack for plugging into the output of your CD player or walkman.

On-off switch and tuning 'dial'. Range: about 7 feet.

Quality- Very good. Geek appeal: 4 out of 6 ****
Where-to-buy? Radio Shack. Price: <$30

UPDATE I have been making some small changes to mine to extend its range! report to follow.. teaser - by adding a small piece or wire you can extend the range to about 100 feet. More mods to follow!
