I am thinking about picking up one of these, mainly because it fits my budget right now. I never had a tabletop unit and am interested in anybody's opinion based on experience on the older Realistic DX-160 receivers?? Love em, hate em??? Thanks in advance for your views on these.:S

The DX150B is superior in my estimation -

I have had one since 1973! It's on 24/7 w/o a hiccup!

Hey Colin, thanks for the quick and honest reply! I have a line on a DX150B, and will have to take another look at it before I make up my mind.

For sure better read-out and frequency display on the SX series --

AND there are lots out there.

Although they are great old receivers, we really need digital read out
these days for frequency notation.
