Recording of two very strong TP's mixing together on 1134 kHz-- the 500 kw KBS station in Hwaseong, South Korea, and a CNR1 station (presumably the 1200 kw outlet in Golmud, China). The recording was made on a modified C.Crane SWP ultralight radio (Slider loopstick + CFJ455K5 filter) assisted by a 7.5' (side) PVC tuned passive loop in Puyallup, WA on December 1, 2009.
Top of the hour (1500 UTC) recording Of 639-CNR1 (Beijing, China) on a modified C.Crane SWP ultralight radio (Slider loopstick + Murata CFJ455K5 filter) in Puyallup, WA on December 1, 2009-- as assisted by a 6' PVC-frame tuned passive loop. Time pips, ID and associated music at an unusually strong level (for the "December doldrums").
